The Alton Foodbank has been awarded a Certificate of Appreciation for its service during the crisis. The Alton Lions presented the award to the foodbank in recognition of how the foodbank has worked and supported the community at a time of crisis. The presentation took place in the Alton Public Gardens on September 12th. The real thanks must go to the 50+ volunteers who contribute their time and energy to ensure that the foodbank meets the needs of everyone referred to it.
